We assess full household moves over the phone or with a free in-home estimate. This estimate will include an hourly rate based on the appropriate number of movers and number of hours. Additionally, there may be other fees to accommodate the varying aspects of your move such as fuel, packing supplies, and specialty items. Moves of five pieces or less may receive a flat rate quote. We aim to provide accurate estimates and avoid any costly surprises on move day.

We do offer short-term storage solutions in the event that you have a gap in your moving dates. Our facility has dedicated storage bays for move needing to be held for more than a few days. The facility is secure but is not climate-controlled. We also have options for loading and unloading on consecutive days to accommodate closing times.

Preparing for your move will play a large role in the move’s success. If you plan to do your own packing, please read over our packing tips and move prep pages to understand our expectations on those topics. The most critical preparation is packing completely. If it will fit in a box, it should be boxed prior to the crew’s arrival. If you have any questions you can’t find answers to on our website, please call! We are always happy to help.

We typically have room in our schedule to accommodate any move with 2 weeks’ notice. It is always possible that we will be able to fit you in with less notice, but it will vary depending on our schedule and the flexibility of your schedule. The summer months do tend to be busier, so make sure you reach out 3-4 weeks in advance to check availability if possible.
Same day requests are a challenge but not always impossible to accommodate. Give us a call to see if this is possible.

We accept cash, checks, and credit/debit cards. However, credit/debit cards do carry an additional 3.5% processing fee. Payment will be collected onsite following the move. Please have payment ready for the crew!

We have two top priorities for every move: customer satisfaction and crew safety. Winters in Iowa can lead to conditions that are not safe to move in. In those circumstances, we will be in contact with you to find a suitable solution. In some circumstances, we may delay the start time or postpone your move to the next day.
